Behind the scenes at "American Idol"

     Jeff Moon Production Services Inc. recently provided crews and equipment for the local taping of try-outs for next season’s American Idol show for Fox. We followed along as Randy, Simon, Paula, and Angie waded through the thousands of hopefuls,  whittling it down to a  handful of contestants in  four days of shooting. Don Cornelli, Preston Swigart, Paul Pytlowany, and Mike Rubner handled camera duties, Dave Krofchok worked audio, Don Walker and Jeff Moon covered the tech department, Andre Key was tape op, Charles Green was in charge of props, and Lori Cuppitelli and Diane Spicer slathered make-up with abandon.
